An update on our Rio Vista Morkie puppy from 2016.
Belle our beautiful Morkie puppy is just over 6 years old now and she is the most wonderful healthy little dog and a credit to Shuna’s brilliant breeding expertise. From the moment we met Shuna to the day with took our new puppy home and the communications with her afterwards Shuna stood out as being a very kind, knowledgeable and professional lady, prepared to spend a lot of time with us during the purchasing process to make sure we were completely happy and fully informed. I would highly recommend anyone considering buying a puppy to buy from Shuna. Her puppies all looked exceptionally healthy and very well cared for in a homelike setting.
Thank you Shuna for making our experience such a happy one and for providing us with not only a wonderful puppy but some lovely memories too. -
I feel very lucky to have found Shuna and Rio Vista Puppies. From the first phone call with her I felt that this was the right place to get a puppy from. She was very welcoming when we went to see the puppy for the first time and we could see how loved and well looked after all her dogs are. After that day Shuna kept sending us pictures and videos to see how the puppy was growing. When we picked Murphy up she gave us lots of information, advice and a lovely puppy pack filled with treats, toys and even a harness.

What an amazing breeder five stars all around! We’ve had a brilliant experience with Riovista Puppies. Shuna has a real passion for what she does and you can really see how much she loves each puppy in her care. We picked up our little girl Poppy in September and as well as lots of advice and a generous puppy pack, Shuna has been on hand since with lots of support and tips whenever we’ve contacted her. Poppy is absolutely gorgeous and brings us so much joy. You can really tell she has had the best start in life and we are so pleased to have discovered Shuna and her beautiful girls.

I contacted Shuna before marmite was pregnant. I was part of the whole process From marmite fulling pregnant and watching her belly grow to her giving birth to 3 beautiful pups . Shuna has been amazing sending us updated pictures and videos of our little girl Willow growing more Confident every day . She came home with us at 8 weeks old with a wonderful puppy pack and most Precious 5 star Generation family tree Certificate . Willow is loving And has a Gorgeous personality, shining coat and just Adorable thank you Shuna for all the tips you gave us and for our little girl .

My family and I have always wanted a little dachshund. However, the time has never been right up until recently.
We are so incredibly lucky that we were able to welcome one of Shuna’s pups into our home. Shuna is an incredible breeder with a massive passion for what she does. From that very first phone-call enquiry with her, I knew that we had picked the best place to find our new family member. Shuna is the most wonderful breeder and is more than deserving of all the praise in the comments below. Our little girl Mabel is beautiful with the personality to match, all thanks to the start Shuna gave her. From the puppy pack including a booklet with everything you could ever need to know, toys and even her first harness, to the way she nurtures the puppies, Shuna gives you so much more than a pup. It’s impossible to miss how much she cares for and loves her doggies and the puppies they bring. From the first message exchanged to now, a month on from bringing our pup home, the support has been amazing. Always available and more than happy to answer questions, as well as to keep us updated on her own dogs who we fell in love with in the process of getting Mabel. If it’s not already clear from this review, we’d recommend Riovista in a heartbeat. Professional but so much more than that, Shuna goes above and beyond. We can’t thank her enough!

Shuna puts her all into raising every pup to reach their full potential. The minute we spoke to her, we knew we had made a good choice. There was lots of communication and updates and on collection day, Shuna took her time to go through everything with me before leaving. We were given a 5star puppy pack to take with us and all of Winnie’s paperwork too. Winnie is a beautiful example of Shuna’s skills as a breeder and all her dogs are beautiful and well taken care of. Shuna has been on hand to answer any questions we’ve had since having Winnie and we can’t thank her enough for our new addition Winnie. I highly recommend Shuna and Riovista pups, I’m even thinking about puppy number two!

Our whole experience with Shuna has been great. From a good introduction to the breed and so much knowledge when going to first see our puppy, constant update videos in the lead up to picking him up, to picking him up and being given a start up pack to help Bertie settle in to his new home. Bertie is beautiful, a real little character! We love him! Very professional dog breeder, who really cares and loves her dogs. Would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you.

Absolutely a 5* breeder. These puppies have had the BEST start in life and are loved and nurtured all the way. I cannot express how overjoyed I am with my little bundle of joy - a mini wire hair dachshund called Daisy. She has been so easy to settle in, she's practically house trained already (and that is all thanks to Shuna for giving her such a great start) and is such a happy girl. I'm delighted and would highly recommend Shuna to anyone. It's always such a gamble buying a puppy but clearly Shuna knows what she is doing and this is totally evident in the puppies she and her ladies produce ! Thank you XXX

I had wanted a little wire haired dachshund for some time but was concerned that now the breed has become fashionable it would be difficult to find a genuine breeder with a conscientious approach to breeding healthy and well socialised dogs.
Shuna was and continues to be so helpful and all her dogs are absolutely delightful. We are thrilled to bits with Lottie. She is such a clever and human centred little dog. A sure sign that she has been raised in a professional and loving environment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Shuna at Riovista and would love to come back for another companion in the future. -
We recently had a miniature wirehaired dachshund puppy from Rio Vista. All the communication with Shuna has been excellent and the puppies were kept in excellent conditions and very well looked after along with the other dogs Shuna has. We got to see the Mum and Shuna was really helpful with photos and videos. The puppy pack also had everything you needed and more. The puppy herself is absolutely gorgeous and is already very well trained. We would not hesitate to recommend Rio Vista and wouldn’t hesitate to have another puppy from them.

After already having Sid from a previous litters of Shuna’s we new straight away as soon as we knew there was another litter expected from sids sister Honey we just had to have another dog, Sid has turned out to be the most loving caring and beautiful looking wire haired dachshund and that’s all down to shuna and her hard work and love she puts into all the puppies and also her own dogs. Fred is also a wire haired and he is so adorable and he’s markings are very unique as a puppy. As a family we thank Shuna for all the help she has always provided us with and we have become very close friends and keep each other up to date with vids,pics so shuna can see her gorgeous puppies grow into the most amazing dogs. Shuna’s help and support has been invaluable. Spike settled in quickly, his training is going incredibly well and is now the proud owner of 2 very ecstatic humans. I have absolutely no doubt that the happy healthy pup we have is a result of Shuna’s skill as a breeder. We bought our morkie puppy buttons from shuna when she was 3 months old she is now 5 months and absolutely beautiful . She fits into our family perfectly. She is a little mischief who is so confident and loves us, our 2 Yorkies and every dog she meets equally it seems. Buttons had a great start in life which has made her such a lovely little girl now. We were lucky to choose shuna as a breeder and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who wants a puppy.

I bought our puppy Sid (min dachshund wired haired) and we as a family are over the moon with him he is a stunning breed and came from a lovely litter and the mother was so calm and beautiful looking, can’t thank Shauna enough for all her help and continue support before buying Sid and after so much information and help I have received from vid,pic,txs. The attention to detail with the puppy pack was just so amazing. I would Highly recommend shauna for her knowledge and her passion to all of her dogs she is a number one breeder and a very lovely lady.

An amazing breeder! I brought my chihuahua 3 years ago in October and it was the best thing I have ever done! I would not change her for the world! Mya is the daughter of Armani and Lacey and is a tiny petite girl who loves nothing more then to snuggle up for cuddles! Just wanted to confirm that Nina the little Maltese I obtained from you November 2015 (a present for my mum's birthday) is an amazing member of the family and loved by all who come in contact with her. She is a delightful combination of princess and tomboy and there have been no health problems whatsoever (due to quality breeding-as confirmed by our vet). Many thanks for going out of your way to help me with pickup dates and the all important puppy selection. Maltese are a beautiful breed not only in terms of looks (love the short 'puppy' cut for home grooming) but also in terms of temperament. I was so lucky to have found you! -
Nina,a Riovista Maltese pup joined our family in November 15. Just over a year later she is adored by both my elderly parents and me, being a perfect mixture of princess and tomboy.
Obtaining her through RioVista was an absolute pleasure from begining to end!!! This past year there have been no health problems requiring vet visits apart from routine shots and recent spaying, and our vet confirmed that we have a delightful strong and healthy pet. It all comes down to good breeding which RioVista has a justified reputation for. Many thanks for the joy this little white bundle of fur has brought to all of us. -
What a privilege and an honour to have brought 2 Maltese puppies from such an amazing breeder. Shuna has a passion and a love for these animals that could rival Dr. Dolittle! She treats them like dogs and as such they thrive, and clearly develop into social animals that respect their pack and their people. I've never known puppies be so well tempered, happy and settle so quickly.
Shuna was extremely welcoming, supportive, honest and we were never rushed during our visits. We saw mum Mini and dad Smartie for our gorgeous baby boys (now called Rocky and Dexter).
I feel, in meeting Shuna, I have made a true friend who I admire for her dedication and tenacity in caring and providing all her dogs with the best, real care.

I've had my little man a week now and my family and I couldn't be happier.
I contacted Shuna asking her if she had any puppies and she informed me that she was due a litter and would let me know. Well she didn't let me down! I fell in love with one of them and when he was a
bit older was able to go and see him. Shuna was so welcoming and was so easy to talk to which was important to me as this was my first dog.
After meeting the puppy and his mum I reserved my puppy. You could tell how happy Shuna dogs are and how much love there is between them. Shuna kept me updated on his progress until I picked him up.
I am so glad I decided to go with Riovista.
Henry is absolutely gorgeous and we wouldn't change him for the world. Shuna has made this a great experience for us and I would recommend her to anyone wanting puppy or dog! -
What can I say about RioVista? From the first telephone call with Shuna to picking up my male Chihuahua I have experienced nothing but friendly and sound advice. On the first night he squeaked to ask
to go outside and can't believe he totally toilet trained for the off go ? and no accidents in the house, I put this down to Shuna and all her hard work and love for her dogs . I will definitely be

After visiting Shuna and her wonderful dogs I just wanted to say how impressed we were. Shuna couldn't have been more welcoming, she spent so much time with us, proudly showing off her doggie mums,
dads and of course the gorgeous puppies. You could see she had a very special relationship with all her adult dogs, singing out their names to separate them from the pack, they would come
confidently. All dogs were obviously very well cared for, being raised in a safe and stimulating environment.
To our absolute pleasure we got to cuddle and hold not only puppies but their parents too. The adult dogs were happy to be petted and loved, obviously accustomed to being handled. We felt so at home
that we lost track of time, but not once were we made to feel we'd outstayed our welcome. Needless to say we fell in love with the puppies (and the parents) and are now impatiently waiting to pick up
a little morkie puppy in a few days time. In the mean time Shuna has kindly sent videos of our chosen puppy and updated us via regular texts. What a wonderful experience this has been thanks to
Shuna's generosity and professionalism, I really couldn't recommend her more highly. -
I purchased my lovely little girl Maisie a few weeks ago. What a wonderful experience. I already have 3 Chihuahuas and Maisie has settled in so well. She has no 'accidents' and goes to the toilet on
her puppy pad. She is so well adjusted and sociable. I was with Shuna for over 2 hours, I didn't feel rushed into making a decision and if I choose to get another puppy will always go back to Shuna.

Towards the end of 2015 after almost a year of contemplating, we set out on a search for the perfect minature dachshund; and Rio Vista provided it! From the initial phone call to Shuna, she was
